With this data, your planner will list your objectives in order to quantify them. You will be given a written report suggesting various options and / or modifications to help you achieve your goals.

Contrary to what many may believe, a rigorous retirement analysis should be periodically reviewed. The closer you are to retirement, the more precise and in-depth the analysis will be.

More than 10 years from retirement, a review every 3 to 5 years would be a good idea, or when a major life event occurs.

Within 5 years of retirement, your plan should be reviewed annually.
